Frequently asked questions

What can you help me with?

We support families through the day-to-day and long-term challenges of caring for a loved one with dementia. You can ask questions about behavior changes, safety, disease progression, and what to expect next. We provide personalized education, help you find and evaluate local Boston-area resources (home care, adult day programs, memory clinics, support groups), guide you in planning ahead, and offer clear recommendations when a situation can be managed at home versus when it’s time to contact a clinician or seek urgent care.

How much does Eva cost?

We offer simple monthly plans with no long-term commitment. Our services are a fraction of the cost of traditional geriatric care managers, who typically charge >$200/hr in the greater Boston area. Our plans are as follows:

  • Basic: $49/month – Ongoing access to your virtual geriatric care manager for personalized guidance, education, and local resource navigation + support from our clinical team when you need it. This is ideal for families who want trusted guidance and a reliable place to turn for day-to-day questions.

  • Concierge: $99/month – Everything in Basic, plus unlimited access to our clinical team. This is ideal for families managing moderate to advanced dementia, escalating symptoms, care transitions, or higher stress.

Can I trust a virtual care manager?

Yes. Our technology is built by clinicians and designed to provide reliable, evidence-informed guidance you can trust. The virtual care manager draws on clinical best practices and local knowledge to give practical, personalized recommendations, not generic internet advice. All responses are also reviewed by clinicians for accuracy. Our goal is to give you a safe, trustworthy source of guidance between medical visits so you’re never navigating this alone
